Once you have chosen the Hospice care provider, they will automatically bill Original Medicare for their services as well as all your needs that fall into the Part A and Part B categories.

The Basic Parts of the Original Medicare Program

  • Part A – Hospital Insurance
    Federal government will pay for your care in a nursing facility or hospital. They will even contribute towards home health care, and hospice care — at no monthly premium.
  • Part B – Medical Insurance
    This will pay for outpatient care in a hospital, doctor’s charges and other medical services. But Part B can only be had for a monthly premium that will be deducted from other Social Security check.
